Thank you for using \u201cCITAN\u201d.
As announced in our notice dated September 22, 2026, \u201cImportant Notice Regarding Unauthorized Access and Suspicious Messages<\/a>\u201d, we have confirmed that some guests with reservations have received suspicious messages via messaging apps such as WhatsApp, asking them to confirm their reservation, re-enter their credit card information, or make an urgent payment.<\/p>\n

At the time of the September 22 announcement, the cause of this incident had not been identified. We have now received a report from Temairazu Co., Ltd., the provider of the reservation management system we use, confirming that its system was accessed without authorization by a third party.<\/p>\n

Based on that report, we cannot rule out the possibility that some guest information may have been viewed or obtained by a third party. We sincerely apologize for the great inconvenience and concern this has caused our guests.<\/p>\n

To the extent confirmed at this time, suspicious messages have been sent to guests holding some of the reservations that meet all of the following conditions:<\/p>\n

Booking date: Reservations made on or before September 21, 2026
Stay date: Reservations for stays on or after September 21, 2026<\/p>\n

If you receive any suspicious communication (such as email or SMS) claiming to be from CITAN, please take particular care with the following points.<\/p>\n

Do not open any URLs or links contained in the message.
Do not enter your credit card information or personal information.
Do not reply to suspicious messages.
Do not make any payment or money transfer as instructed in a message.
To confirm your reservation details, please contact the official support desk of the accommodation you booked or of the booking site you used.<\/p>\n

If you have entered your credit card information or other details on a suspicious website, please consult your credit card company immediately.<\/p>\n

Please note that the system that was the source of this incident does not handle or store credit card information.<\/p>\n
