地方の工芸品や、食べもの、またそれらを作っている人たちと出会える場として、日本全国から様々なローカルを紹介していきます。”
第3回では、toco.にて福岡県から伝統工芸の花火をご紹介します。
線香花火の製造工程を体験したり、その場で花火を楽しむことができる一夜限りのイベントです。
toco.のバーからは夏の夜を楽しめるスペシャルドリンクを提供予定！
▼イベント内容
福岡県の「筒井時正玩具花火製造所」で日々職人たちの手によって一つ一つ作られる花火。
線香花火に代表される伝統の技を使い、自分の手で花火を作ってみようというワークショップです。
自分で作った線香花火や職人たちによって作られた花火を持ってお庭に移動し、美味しいお酒をくっくっく！と飲みながら線香花火を楽しめる企画です。
当日は、「花火の販売」と「線香花火のワークショップ」を予定しています。線香花火以外にも様々な花火を楽しむことができます！
▼筒井時正玩具花火製造所について
子供向け玩具花火の製造を続けて約90年、製造所の歴史は昭和4年に遡ります。
国内唯一の線香花火製造所であった製造所(福岡県八女市)が1999年に廃業し、日本の線香花火は消えてしまう運命でした。
しかし、3代目筒井良太が線香花火の製造技術継承を願い、その製造所で修行し、製造所の廃業と同時にすべてを引き継ぎました。
同県みやま市高田町(旧三池郡高田町)で伝統の光を守り続け、現在に至ります。

At Local Stand, our goal is to create a platform where locals and worldwide travelers can meet.
This platform sponsors regional crafts and food as well as meeting the Japanese locals responsible for their handiwork.
Event Description
For the 3rd volume of Local Stand we are pleased to introduce traditionally crafted sparklers from
Fukuoka Prefecture. This is a one night event that will provide the opportunity to experience the
crafting process of traditional “Senko Hanabi” as well as simply enjoying sparklers. The Toco. Bar will
also be preparing special drinks to compliment the summer evening!
▼About Tsutumai Tokimasa Toy Firework Manufacturing
The history of the firework manufacturing dates back to 1929 and since then has continued to
manufacture fireworks for children for nearly 90 years. The only Japanese Sparkler Firework factory in
the country (Yame, Fukuoka) was shut down in 1999 which meant that the Japanese Sparkler would
go extinct. However, as the factory was closing, Ryota Tustui (3rd Generation) wished to be
the successor of firework manufacturing. He took over the plot, tools and practices and trained within
the factory to keep the traditional firework alive. In the same prefecture, in Miyama City, Takatamachi
(Miike-Gun District, Takatamachi) this traditional light has been protected and continues to shine today.
