Nui.５周年記念イベント「High Five」開催概要、第３回目になる最後のお知らせです！

「High Five」では、５周年にちなんでこの日だけの５つのSpecialを用意します！
本日は「Special Live」についてご連絡いたします。

皆さまお待ちかね、ライブアーティストのご紹介です。
今回はポラリス「オオヤユウスケ」、Nabowa「山本啓」、そしてjizue「Kie Katagi」の
３名が集まりSpecial Liveを開催します。

３組の別のバンドから集まったこの日だけの豪華な取り合わせ。

それぞれソロでの演奏から組み合わせてのライブまで、様々な形で心地よい音楽を届けてくれます！

ライブ時間は１４：００〜１６：００になります。
ぜひこの時間目指してお越しください。

◉オオヤユウスケ（Polaris / SPENCER）
横浜出身
作詞作曲 / ボーカル / ギター / 電子楽器 / サウンドプロデュース
幼少期からクラシック音楽を学び、チェロ、ピアノ、ギター、電子楽器などを習得。中学時代より作曲を開始。
大学卒業後、’97年バンドLaB LIFe（’97〜’00）でプロデビュー。
2000年柏原譲とPolarisを結成。’01年『Polaris』でデビュー以来5枚のフルアルバムをリリース。最新作は’15年2月に約9年振りのアルバム『Music』。
数多くの野外フェス等に出演し、多くの人々を魅了し続けている。
’05年ハナレグミ永積崇、クラムボン原田郁子とohana（オハナ）を結成。’06年アルバム『オハナ百景』リリース。
’07年以降はソロ活動も始め、’10年にソロプロジェクト”SPENCER”をスタート。’11年アルバム『SPENCER』リリース。ソロでは、
数多くのアーティストとの共演、ヨーロッパやアジアなど海外公演も多数行う。
主なプロデュース作品：ハナレグミ『音タイム』『あいのわ』（’09年日本レコード大賞作品賞受賞）、原田郁子『ピアノ』、持田香織（ELT）ソロ作品など。
主な映画音楽作品：廣木隆一監督『M』（ロッテルダム映画祭）、守屋健太郎監督『スクールデイズ』他。

◉山本啓
クラシック、ロック、テクノ、エレクトロニカ、アンビエント、ノイズ等のエッセンスを取り入れたフレーズを奏でるバイオリニストであり、
インストバンドNabowaのメンバーとして国内外でライブを行うほか、個人でもあらゆるジャンルのアーティストの作品、ライブに参加。
バイオリン以外にもギターや自ら調律を施したアコースティックピアノを使い、エフェクトやループを駆使したソロライブも各地で高い評価を得ている。
2017年1月にはピアニストのYuma Koda氏とともにアイスランド、KEX でのライブを成功させた。
京都に持つプライベートスタジオ「THE GATE」で日々制作と実験、研究を重ねる。

◉Kie Katagi
京都出身。4歳よりピアノを始め、高校、大学と音楽学校に進み、海外などでも公演を行っているピアニスト/鍵盤奏者。
16年2月10日Schroeder-Headz、mabanua、関口シンゴ、Shingo Suzuki(Ovall/Hipnotics)が参加したピアノ・アルバム『Serendipity』でデビュー。
また、インストゥルメンタル・バンド、jizue（ジズー）の鍵盤奏者としても活動中。
jizueは、ジャズやポストロックをベースに、ダンスミュージックやミニマルの要素まで取り入れ、変幻自在で巧みな演奏能力が高い評価を獲得しており、その人気は日本のみに止まらず、カナダや中国で大規模なツアーを行なうなど世界中でファンを増やしている。

Introducing the 3rd official announcement for the upcoming 5 Year Anniversary event!

The ‘High-Five’ event is backed up by 5 special components, previously having announced the special menus and bar time- it’s time to introduce the Special Live Guests!

We appreciate your patience… the wait is over!

We are proud to announce the 3 Special Live Performers: Ōya Yusuke from Polaris, Nabowa’s Yamamoto Hiraku and last but not least from Jizue, Kie Katagi!

These three artists from different bands have gathered on this special day to celebrate with you!
Ranging from solo to collaborated projects, the three artists will be sure to deliver good vibes all around.

The Live hours are scheduled from 14:00-16:00, we will be looking forward to welcoming you then!

For a sampling of Hiraku’s (Nabowa) work, the following video is of a live performance at our sister hostel, Len (Kyoto).

◉Ōya Yusuke (Polaris/ SPENCER)
The Yokohama native musician is a songwriter, vocalist, guitarist, electronic musical instrumentalist and sound producer.
From early teachings in classical music he soon mastered the cello, piano, guitar, electronic musical instruments, the list goes on.
He began composing as early as his junior high school days.
After graduating from college in ‘97, he had his professional debut with the band, LaB LIFe (’97 -’00).
In 2000 he teamed up with Kashiwabara to form the band ‘Polaris’. Since ‘Polaris’ debuted in 2001, the band has released five full albums.
The most recent album ‘Music’ released in February 2015, would be the first album released in over 9 years.
Ōya Yusuke has appeared in numerous outdoor music festivals and continues to attract large crowds everywhere he goes.
2007 marked the start of his solo activity, in 2010 he worked on his first solo project “SPENCER”. The solo album ‘SPENCER’ was released the following year in 2011.
As a solo artist, he has collaborated with numerous artists and has performed abroad planting his flag in areas such as Europe and Asia.
Ōya’s vocals and melody are said to resonate gently with people regardless of background, the sound is timeless and unparalleled.
The music he creates reaches into the spirit of the audience and embraces the soul.

◉Yamamoto Hiraku
Yamamoto Hiraku is a violinist who has tapped into multiple genres such as classical, rock, techno, electronica and ambient among many others.
As a member of the instrumental band ‘Nabowa’ he has performed locally as well as overseas.
He has also made a name for himself at other artists’ live events from all kinds of genres as a guest performer.
Aside from the violin, his talents on the guitar as well as a self-tuned piano and his unique style of adding effects and looping during performances has earned him high praise from his audiences.
In January 2017, alondside the pianist Yuma Koda, he succesfully performed live at venue KEX in Iceland.
Today he continues to study and experiment with music in Kyoto’s private studio ‘The Gate’.

◉Kie Katagi
Born in Kyoto, started playing the piano at the age of 4 Kie has established herself as a professiona pianist and keyboard player.
Her focus in music began in high school and continued to grow through her studies at university and music school.
She is currently performing in Japan and abroad.
In February 2016 she dropped her collaborated piano album with Schroeder-Headz, mabanua, Sekiguchi Shingo, Shingo Suzuki (Ovall / Hipnotics) named “Serendipity”.
Additionally she stays active as a keyboard player in the instrumental band ‘Jizue’.
The instrumental band is based on jazz and post rock, they incorporate elements of dance music and minimal which requires acute performance skills.
This unique style’s popularity is not limited to Japan, it continues to span beyond Canada and China and the number of fans around the world are always increasing.
