Protruding out onto the street like a small wharf in a bay, first to welcome all guests and visitors and last to say goodbye, is BERTH COFFEE. ‘Berth’ represents an anchorage point, and at BERTH COFFEE there is a desire to tirelessly serve coffee and rejuvenate all those coming and going along their journey. BERTH COFFEE also strives to represent everyone involved in the coffee process by highlighting the dedicated roasters and farmers who are paramount to bringing the best coffee to the table.
Our baristas have all trained long and hard, and are dedicated to deliver the original tastes and aromas of the beans intended by the roasters and producers. It is our baristas responsibility to bring out the best of what the producers and roasters have provided to us at BERTH. We use an ever-changing variety of speciality coffee that has undergone rigorous quality control throughout all phases of production, and which has been specially selected for its outstanding flavours and aromas. Think refreshing fruity acidity, floral scents, and the sweetness of honey and caramel.

The primary beans used at BERTH COFFEE are roasted and provided by the famous ONIBUS COFFEE from Nakameguro. Other beans are periodically sourced by our talented baristas, often through guests staying at CITAN, or through guest baristas and roasters, and original collaborative beans are made, unique to BERTH COFFEE. Because of the often-changing coffee beans, it not uncommon to find a new blend waiting to be tried.
